The Spice Kothi

A retail design and architectural visualization project for a family-owned spice business — transforming a conventional retail unit into an immersive store environment reflecting the heritage, richness, and cultural character associated with Indian spices.

Based on the client-provided shop layout, IRANZA DESIGNS developed the interior design concept, spatial arrangement, product display strategy, material palette, and architectural visualizations — combining traditional Indian architectural references with a contemporary retail environment through arches, earthy tones, crafted wooden displays, decorative screens, artwork, and warm ambient lighting.

The design draws on Lucknow's architectural and cultural character: arched niches, warm terracotta tones, handcrafted display furniture, traditional artwork, and textured surfaces create a distinctive sense of place — an experiential space where customers engage with the visual and cultural story behind the brand.
