Shariq sets the design direction across the studio's projects, shaping the visual and conceptual language that carries from early sketches through to finished spaces. He works closely with each project lead to keep a consistent studio sensibility across very different project types — without flattening what makes each one distinct.

Much of his role is judgment calls: knowing when a design idea should be pushed further and when it's already found its right, restrained form.
